Go Love Yourself: A Holistic Approach To Self Care

Yes, responsible parenting starts with taking care of you.  We should know. Three years ago, we got the shock of our lives when my husband, a seemingly fit and healthy athlete was diagnosed with heart disease at the age of 46.  We learned that being “fit” wasn’t the same as being healthy.  Living a busy, stressful corporate life didn’t help either.

Since then, we’ve created a shift  in our lifestyle by not only taking care of our body but also our mind and spirit. We’ve made a conscious effort to care for our mental wellness, to learn how to cook and eat mindfully as well as to engage in movement and meditation practices. We are happy to say that this shift stemming from self-care has only helped us become healthier and happier. More importantly, we’ve gained peace of mind knowing that taking care of ourselves means increasing our chances of being around for our three kids longer.

We would like to share how we made this shift through GO LOVE YOURSELF, a holistic workshop on self-care through nourishing your mind, body and spirit. In collaboration with Anam Cara Manila and Enlight Ph, the workshop happens on July 15th, 2018 (Sunday) from 10 AM to 5 PM at Anam Cara Manila – 161 Neptune St. Bel Air 2, Makati.

Our stellar speakers include:

Dr. Lia Bernardo, The Happiness Doctor (10am-12pm)

Samantha Morales, RND, Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (1PM-3PM)

Tet Bachmann, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Teacher (3PM-5PM)

We hope that through GO LOVE YOURSELF we are able to inspire and encourage you toward your own path to self-love for a healthy mind, body and spirit. Visit realparentinghub.com for more information.
