The Kate Manifesto
Style is nothing without substance.
Home is where my loved ones are, and it’s also the place that reflects my personal style
and my idea of beautiful and restful.
Every get-together is a reason to celebrate in a lovely setting—
with good food and awesome friends and family.
The little details always matter.
I am the best mom to my kids.
Laughter truly is the best medicine,
and girlfriends are the perfect antidote to stress.
I do what makes me happy.
Quality over quantity, always.
Today and every day, I choose love and light.

Our Editors & Founders
Soon after graduating with a BA Journalism degree from UP Diliman, Vicky worked as a contributing writer for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, covering the fashion and lifestyle beat. She was also part of the three biggest publishing firms in the country and found success with different readerships and genres: she was the Editor in Chief of teen magazine Chalk and Managing Editor (from 2007-2010) and Fashion Features Editor at Large (from 2011-2014) of fashion magazine Preview. In 2014, Vicky wrote StyLIZed: Liz Uy’s Ten Style Essentials; in the latter part of the year, she joined Rogue Media Inc. as Executive Editor of the recently launched international fashion title L’Officiel Manila. Vicky is the Publisher of 747 Media, whose brands include Kate, Taste, and RideNa.
Vicky is also a wife, mom (to Pio and Natalia), and frustrated interior designer.
After a five-year stint as a Marketing specialist, Jocelle found her creative calling in the publishing industry, as Chalk’s Associate Editor. Finally able to use her journalism skills from her Communication Arts degree from De La Salle University, she never looked back. Finding her place in the creative industry, she stayed with Chalk for four years and continued her career to become the Managing Editor of Metro Weddings from 2009 until the present. She is also a Corporate Communications consultant for her family’s business, Jocanima Corporation and is a founding partner of Triple PR and Communications.
Jocelle is a stay-at-home soccer mom to Lucia and Mio. A Martha hopeful, she is a DIY mom who likes to dabble in crafts and party styling—a newfound passion of hers.
