We looove baby showers! Not only do they usually have the most adorable decorations and themes, we love what it represents—a new baby is coming! And there’s no better reason to celebrate.

This baby shower featured in Celebrations At Home is so swoon-worthy, we just had to share it with you.

Terry Lew of Hunt and Gather Decor and Prop Rentals and the mom-to-be, had a classic children’s books inspired baby “sprinkle”. The decor was rustic and vintage—two words that should always go together, in my opinion. The details were a nod to the classic stories of Wizard Of Oz, Bambi, Alice In Wonderland and Snow White. Plus, the sprinkle was held in a beautiful little bookshop in San Francisco. So romantic! The celebration was low-key, yet oh-so-beautiful. I wish I were invited!

Take inspiration from Terry’s photos:

The table was decorated with old books and artfully littered with storybook pages. The use of white vases and flowers balanced this out and added a feminine and modern touch

Excerpts from Alice In Wonderland, and other stories, displayed in ornate white frames. Gold details such as apples and deer tell of Snow White and Bambi

Terrariums held name cards and doubled as party favors. Do you see Bambi, too?

Afternoon tea fare was served. We love how the simple use of old book pages added a rustic feel and tied everything in with the theme

Terry's sister put up a calligraphy station where guests can have their favorite storybook quotes written and framed. It was a hit.
